Being An MP And Junior Minister Is A Life Style Choice

Tax Evasion Is Not A Life Style Choice – says Danny Alexander, Chief Secretary to the Treasury, and Side Kick Minister to George Osborne, in a speech to the Lib Dem Conference. He did get a few rounds of applause, but they did seem to be more polite than heart felt. Why the embarrassment from the delegates?

Apparently Living on benefits is also not an acceptable Life Style Choice, and seen as equally antisocial! The Jihads against so many come fast and furious from the Political Generals and war mongers.

But what about Mr Alexander and his history around Capital Gains Tax, Second Homes and the parliamentary jargon of “Flipping” second homes – and all claimed on MP Expenses and benefits?

Danny Alexander, first minister of the treasury, with an expression that reads as joke on you. A cast Iron Pot full of money and an old battered copper kettle. OneRedDrop drips from the Cast Iron Pot. Caption “Pot Calling Kettle Ginger”. Mr Alexander has bright ginger hair. hastag-onereddrop So there we have Mr Alexander telling the world that Tax Evasion is antisocial. He should know, having been studied the classic Politics, Philosophy and Economics at Oxford. Maybe the Economics part of the Oxford Curriculum needs to be updated to meet modern taxation and public philosophy?

Mr Alexander didn’t use his qualifications to go it banking, or some of the more common route power. He went into Media and Public Relations. Yes he’s a Spin Doctor, and was employed to do that for The Lib Dems as far back as 1993. He even had a stint as being the PR Guru for The Cairngorms National Park. Perhaps he was busy dealing with the fall out from golfing stag parties?

So Danny Boy does know about the media, how it works and just how things have to be said and seen to be done. For a Treasury Minster to be talking about Tax Evasion as a Life Style Choice, when he has a few rattling skeletons in the closest, just does not make sense form a Public Relations Point of view.

So the embarrassed applause from the Lib Dem conference delegates? Was it his lack lustre performance, lack of PR Savvy, the content – or shocked disbelief?

Many will have noticed that Mr Alexander hails from Scotland, so there is no doubt that he’s familiar with the national drink made from Girders – Irn-Bru – commonly known as “Ginger”!

The iconic advertising for Irn-Bru, shows children drinking it and then acting as super heroes.

How many bottles did he have before he went on stage?

It sure as hell took something for him to have the Cast Iron Balls to try stand up and play the innocent Pot Calling the Kettle!

  1. The lib dems obviously are pissing off a lot of people a lot more easily nowadays. We have been able to see that they are just like any other politicians.
